Morigen started at the crossroads of two passions: the precision of informatics and the complexity of biology. Having spent some time working in healthcare (still do!) , one pattern became impossible to ignore — patients are growing increasingly conscious of their health! So I started this blog as a form of awareness to each and everyone.
The answer to many of our health questions lies in precision medicine, and it all begins with genomics. Morigen exists to share current trends, knowledge and genomic policies.
The vision is clear: to become a trusted, rigorous, and rooted platform for precision medicine - one that you can come back to whenever you need an explanation, And source you can rely on - for future policies!
I'm currently pursuing an MPhil/PhD in Bioinformatics and Genomics at the University of Mauritius. I'm also an entrepreneur and the founder of morigen. I believe my academic journey places me right at the precise intersection of experimentation & public awareness.
With a background in healthcare and a deepening expertise in genomic data analysis, I certainly understand both the human dimension of health: the patient seeking answers — and the technical rigour required to find them reliably.
